Mary Ann Lenhard is a creative artist and art educator specializing in papermaking, bookbinding, mixed media, and fiber arts. She has a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. During her time in St. Louis she gained experienceas a Research Assistant to the Director at The Saint Louis Art Museum. She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where she taught many adult and children's programs at Artspace studios, The Craft Center and The School of Design at North Carolina State University, and Pullen Arts Center. She was also a performance artist and dancer in the group called Sketch. While in Pennsylvania she instructed children and adult classes at the Whitemarsh Art Center for 4 years and became the Program Coordinator. As an innovative, enthusiastic teacher Mary Ann continues to develop lessons and activities for adults and children that encourage an interest in art. Currently she teaches at several schools and non profit educational institutions in the Whitemarsh and Doylestown areas.
