Julia Rubio, MA – Violin, Elite Strings

Jullia Rubio earned a BA in Music Education from Miami University and was a member of the Middletown Symphony (OH), Springfield Symphony (OH) and Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra (OH). Julia maintained a private violin and viola studio for many years in both Cincinnati and Chicago, served on the string faculty of the Hamilton City School District in Ohio, taught early childhood music in Naperville, IL, and served as the Junior Apprentice Coach and Ensemble Conductor for the SoundFest Chamber Music Institute in Cape Cod, MA with the Colorado String Quartet. Ms. Julia also has an MA in Performing Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago and has served in senior staff positions for several of Philadelphia’s leading classical music organizations and, in addition to being a part of the Elite String faculty, she currently serves as the Executive Director of the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra.
