Sandra Hartman
- Piano Sandra Hartman came to the Community Conservatory twelve years ago to teach piano full-time. Prior to that, she taught as a long-term and per diem music sub at Pennsbury, Bensalem, Neshaminy and Central Bucks school systems while also teaching private piano students in her home. She graduated from Westmister College in New Wilmington, PA with a Bachelor of Music in Education. Her applied major was piano with a minor in voice. She studied piano with Isable Kaminsky at the Trenton Conservatory and participated in National Piano Auditions every year. She received a Bach Award from National Piano Auditions for all-Bach program in high school. Sandra has directed church choirs from pre-school age to adult over the years, and developed a pre-school music program when she taught at Washington Crossing Pre-School. She loves teaching piano and especially likes Baroque music and compositions by Chopin, though she might say she prefers Brahms, Mozart or Beethoven depending on the day you ask. She firmly believes piano should be fun, and advocates that students have a repertoire of memorized pieces that they can play wherever they go.
