Stretched Strings
Concert and Workshop Series is dedicated to presenting a broad spectrum of music
that expresses the pure beauty of the acoustic guitar. We feature the finest fingerstyle
guitarists working today in an intimate and casual setting. Each event features
a concert by a world class guest artist who will showcase their unique musical
vision. There is also an up-close workshop in which the guest artist will discuss
his or her personal style and area of expertise. Each concert is hosted by our
Resident Artist and Artistic Director Tim Farrell, who performs solo and with
each guest artist. Tim also facilitates and teaches at the workshops. Stretched
Strings has had the pleasure to present these incredible artists: Thom Bresh,
Robin Bullock, Ernie Hawkins, Mark Hanson, Bob Evans, Stephen Bennett, Philadelphia
Classical Guitar Trio Doug Smith Muriel Anderson and Pete Huttlinger.

de Grassi, Ed Gerhard, Ken Bonfield, Larry Pattis and more.
With critical acclaim such as "perfection...highly creative," "a true
artist's soul," and "perhaps the leading contemporary fingerstyle guitarist
