"It's a fact; the arts have the power to boost self esteem,
bring families together and change lives."

We're "holding our own", "doing okay". True, but is that good enough? We are committed to going beyond the status quo.

It's a fact; the arts have the power to boost self esteem, bring families together and change lives. We firmly believe that, like food and shelter, the arts are an essential part of life. Even in these tough economic times we are focused on going beyond "doing okay". For example, we want to help more at-risk children living in distressed neighborhoods discover the power of their own creativity through our Neighborhood Notes program. We need your support to continue and grow arts programming that can make a real difference in the quality of life. Please consider supporting the Conservatory's mission with a tax-deductible gift at one of the following levels:

We see everyday how the arts have the power to transform a life:

Janie is a young adult with Down Syndrome. She loves to sing but was so unsure of herself that she was even reluctant to sing in front of her music therapist. Janie has shown remarkable improvement in self-confidence, expressiveness and tone. She now loves to sing frequently in front of groups, sharing her pride in what the Prelude Project has done for her life.

For over 20 years the Conservatory has offered opportunities for self expression through music, art and drama. We invite everyone to take part… beginners to advanced level students, children and adults, senior citizens and at-risk children, and those who have disabilities or lack financial resources.

We are committed to keeping our programming vital, striving every day to fulfill our vision of "igniting a passion for the arts - to enhance life." Generous financial support from people like you is critical to help us go beyond "holding our own". With such help, we tripled the number of Prelude Project students who have disabilities like autism, Down Syndrome and mental illness…but we have more to do. Please join those who have committed to making the arts accessible to everyone and give as generously as you can!

Thank You!
