Elite
Strings Orchestra
The
Elite Strings Youth Orchestra and Private Lesson program offers a Holistic String Performance
Plan tailored to enhance the development of young musicians. Along with private
lessons, orchestral training provides the instruction and experience necessary
to achieve the highest level of performance. In addition, it is the objective
of the ESYO staff to help young musicians grow as integral members of an ensemble,
while developing a unique perspective and appreciation of a wide variety of
orchestral music. All rehearsals and private lessons are held at the North
Penn Church of Christ in Montgomeryville, PA.

The main objective of this course in Photography is to learn how to compose a pleasing to the eye photograph. There are many rules of composition. Rules NOT laws. The photographer can brean ANY rule of composition depending on what the photographer wants to accomplish. In addition to composition, the student will use Photoshop Elements to learn how to be creative using the original photograph. You will also learn the difference between "looking" and "seeing." There will be a handout that you shall be given in the first class that explains many of the rules of composition. You will be expected to take photographs during the intervening week. These will be brought to class on a memory card, flash drive or CD. Bring images to the first class. Photoshop Elements required.

"READERS THEATER" Get your kids to practice their reading skills without knowing it in a positive and fun environment! We'll rehearse simple plays, paint sets, and perform for parents and friends every other week at our studio. "Acting Out" the story dialogue compels readers to work more closely with the text and to interpret and project meaning into the experience. "IMPROV" One of our most popular class at LCA, improvisation is spontaneous theater with no script. I t helps you learn to think on your feet, and it's tons of fun too!
